Get to Know NCA’s National Office Staff: Meet Chelsea Bowes
Chelsea Bowes is the Assistant Director for Digital Strategies at NCA. Working within the Department of External Affairs and Publications, Chelsea manages the NCA website, video projects, and the association’s IT needs. She is spearheading a forthcoming NCA podcast series to be hosted by Executive Director Trevor Parry-Giles.
Chelsea grew up in the Washington, DC area. She holds an M.A. in Communication from George Mason University and a B.A. in English Literature from Christopher Newport University. She has more than eight years of experience with nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining NCA, Chelsea was Director of Communication and Special Projects for the Chamber of Commerce Hawai'i.
When she is not busy polishing NCA’s online presence, Chelsea enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with M.J., her calico cat.
