Meet Mitchell Liwanag
Mitchell is the Office Coordinator for NCA’s national office in Washington, DC. Often the first point of contact for NCA members, Mitchell also manages administrative tasks and keeps the National Office in good working order. He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Communication from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. While at Cal Poly, he served as President of the university’s Colleges Against Cancer and Relay for Life clubs. Mitchell is originally from Central Valley region of California, where he grew up on a three-acre farm and participated in National 4-H and Future Farmers of America. He is currently training for the 2019 Rock n’ Roll Half Marathon in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining NCA, Mitchell was an intern for the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, and for U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-CA10).
