Call for Resolution Proposals

Submission Deadline—June 30

NCA members are invited to submit new resolution proposals to the Resolutions Committee for review or proposals to revise existing resolutions. All proposals are due no later than June 30, 2026. There are three types of resolutions:

• Public Policy Statements: These address public, discipline-relevant issues where communication scholarship provides insight and may include implementation considerations.
• Ethical Statements: These address general principles of right and wrong that guide decision-making within the Association and discipline.
• Academic/Professional Statements: These address issues related to the professional practice of communication educators and scholars and the broader stature of the discipline.
