Jake joined CBIZ, Inc. via the acquisition of Marcum LLP in November 2024. He is an experienced accounting professional with over 22 years working with not-for-profits (NFP), with 16 being in the financial services industry. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia and District of Columbia.

In his role, Jake serves as the main interface for clients, assisting in month-end closings, audit preparation, financial consolidation, financial analysis and reporting, maintaining internal controls, managing cash flows, and overseeing staff.

Prior to joining Marcum, Jake acted as a Finance Manager and Controller for Eagles Wings Ministries. He supervised all accounting and financial functions of the organization. Jake has strong public speaking skills and provides outsourced accounting functions to a number of NFP organizations. His clients have included Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, PEAK Grantmaking, W. Haywood Burns Institute, Propane Education Research Council, Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, OneTen Coalition, and Asian & Pacific Islander America Health Forum.
