Online Course Resources Available for Course Planning

Communication teachers preparing to teach online should consider consulting NCA’s resources about online teaching and learning. The online learning resources page features advice and resources for faculty, such as best practices for remote, online, and HyFlex learning, information about useful technology and platforms, and tips for connecting with students while teaching online. The page also includes resources for students, which may be helpful to share in your syllabus or on your course website. If you’re looking for inspiration for course assignments, be sure to check out the online course assignments page, which includes sample activities for the basic communication course, intercultural communication, public relations, and much more! Finally, NCA’s eTools page offers tips on using technology in the classroom, including Canva, Flipgrid, Kialo, and Pinterest.
