The National Communication Association (NCA) was founded in 1914 as the National Association of Academic Teachers of Public Speaking.Today, the organization’s membership includes thousands of communication scholars, students and practitioners representing every state in the nation and a number of countries around the world. In celebration of NCA’s upcoming 100th anniversary, we asked attendees at the most recent NCA convention in Orlando, FL, USA what membership in NCA means to them.
