The Executive Committee of the Legislative Assembly (EC) can issue public statements outside of the NCA resolutions process. The intent is to quickly disseminate messages to members and the public via NCA’s website and other means of communication, distribute them to other academic associations to raise awareness and garner support, and use them as a vehicle for advocacy to policymakers and practitioners.
