Undergraduate Course Syllabi

Syllabus and stack of books

For many instructors, one of the first steps when creating a new course is to review existing course syllabi. To assist with this endeavor, several syllabi created by NCA members are included in this section. Each syllabus identifies the textbook (and additional readings) used in the course, the course purpose and learning outcomes, the course requirements, and a tentative, week-by-week schedule. Because these syllabi are meant to assist in course development and design, they should not be used in their entirety and appropriate credit for any material used is expected.
