NCA Participates in Research Exhibition on Capitol Hill
The Coalition for National Science Funding’s (CNSF) 22ndAnnual Exhibition and Reception, an event designed to encourage members of Congress to support the National Science Foundation (NSF), was held on April 28. This year’s CNSF exhibition was titled “Investments in STEM Research and Education: Fueling American Innovation.” Researchers from across the United States answered questions about their NSF-funded efforts to help meet the nation’s research and education goals. Communication scholar Arun Vishwanath of the University at Buffalo presented his research, “Spear Phishing: The Single Biggest Threat to Cybersecurity and How We Can Combat It.” Several NCA staff members also attended the event.
CNSF is an alliance of more than 140 professional organizations, universities, and businesses supporting the goal of increasing the nation’s investment in NSF’s research and education programs. NCA is a member of the coalition.
