NCA Convention Central Now Open for Submissions
NCA’s 102nd Annual Convention, to be held November 10-13 in Philadelphia, has the theme “Communication’s Civic Callings.” The theme is intended to spark conversations about our possible roles as teachers, scholars, and public servants situated within multiple communities.
Stephen J. Hartnett, NCA’s First Vice President and primary program planner, invites provocative papers and panel submissions that create opportunities for thinking about communication as a form of civic action that can have powerful effects on students and colleagues, multiple national communities, and global constituencies. Useful tips as well as step-by-step instructions on how to submit proposals for individual papers, paper sessions, panel discussions, and performance sessions can be found in the Convention Resource Library. Submissions are now being accepted at Convention Central; the deadline is Wednesday, March 30.
