NCA comprises more than 60 interest groups that represent the substantive, professional, and representative interests of its members. Among the many specialized activities of interest groups are planning convention programs, disseminating information, and sponsoring awards. Each NCA member may affiliate with up to three interest groups. Additional affiliations may be added for $5 each. There is no charge for caucus affiliation.
Divisions provide forums for members who share interest in a topic of substantive study.
Sections provide forums for members who share common professional settings.
Caucuses represent the interests of a specific demographic or socially defined segment of the NCA membership. They cut across both division and section lines and seek to realize the objectives specified in NCA's Affirmative Action Statement. In addition to the three interest groups included in membership, members may join a caucus at no additional charge.
