DESC: The Television-Audio Support Activity is seeking a contractor to conduct a worldwide audience survey for the American Forces Radio and Television Service. The purpose of this survey is to measure the quantitative and qualitative performance of the existing services as well as provide feedback on the desires of the audience for changes and additions to our services. The scope of the survey effort shall encompass all of the radio and television services and products emanating from the American Forces Radio and Television Service-Broadcast Center. The audience shall include all of the land based and sea borne authorized audiences (minus all family members). The authorized audience is defined as those U.S. military members and DoD civilian employees stationed outside of the fifty states or on board U.S. Navy ships at sea (estimated total at 400,000). The Contractor selected for any award as a result of this solicitation must exhibit, as a minimum, experience during the past five years with this type of effort on behalf of the Department of Defense; e.g. military personnel worldwide survey. A solicitation with a detailed Performance Work Statement will be available on or about June 29, 2001 via on-line.
