SCHOLARS’ OFFICE HOURS

It can be intimidating or uncomfortable for students or new scholars to wait in line after a panel to talk with a senior scholar, to try to stop them in the hall, or even at a business meeting. In recognition of such a hurdle, one goal for the NCA 95th Annual Convention in Chicago became to feature outstanding scholars in our discipline and to help students and new scholars connect and have opportunities to interact face-to-face. To create a conducive and welcoming environment for such interaction, First Vice President Dawn O. Braithwaite is hosting the Scholars’ Office Hours. Thursday, November 12, from 11:00am until 12:15pm.
