National Honorary Society for Undergraduates in Communication
As an Accredited member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS), Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) has active chapters at four-year colleges and universities worldwide. LPH represents what Aristotle described in The Rhetoric as three ingredients of persuasion: Logos (Lambda) meaning logic, Pathos (Pi) relating to emotion and Ethos (Eta) defined as character credibility, and ethics. Lambda Pi Eta recognizes, fosters, and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement while stimulating interest in the communication discipline.
National Honorary Society for Undergraduates in Two-Year Communication Programs
Sigma Chi Eta (SCH) is represented by the Greek letters S, C, and H to symbolize “Students in Communication with Honors.” SCH strives to recognize, foster, and reward outstanding scholastic achievement while exploring options for community college students to transfer to a four-year college or university or enter the workforce.
National Club for Undergraduates in Two and Four-year Communication Programs
National Communication Association Student Clubs (NCASC) is committed to enriching the lives of undergraduate communication majors and minors. NCASC exists to encourage student involvement in departmental activities, support undergraduate research, and provide professional and social networking opportunities.
