Join the NCA Database of Experts
in Communication Scholarship Topics

NCA is expanding its database of members who are subject-matter experts and are willing to speak with reporters. National Office media relations professionals use this database to actively pitch topical experts to reporters and to respond to requests from reporters for expert interviews.

By submitting your information, you understand that:

  • NCA is expanding this database as a service to NCA members to facilitate their connection to journalists in an effort to promote and disseminate communication scholarship to the public;
  • Inclusion in this database is open only to current NCA members;
  • The database is for the exclusive use of NCA’s National Office staff;
  • Your contact, biographical, and expertise information in the database will be proactively and reactively made available exclusively to members of the media as determined by NCA National Office staff;
  • You are agreeing to be available for and to respond to media inquiries in a timely manner and (when possible) before the reporter’s deadline;
  • You are a subject-matter expert by virtue of your scholarship and you are free to express your own point of view;
  • You do not speak on behalf of NCA;
  • You will inform the National Office of all media interactions for tracking purposes (please send an email to jglicoes@natcom.org); and
  • At any time, you can request to be removed from the database by sending an email to jglicoes@natcom.org. Please understand that members of the media may already have received your information.

Thank you for participating in this important NCA initiative.
