NCA Career Center
This online database is the best place to advertise careers in communication. Post open positions for immediate accessibility to online visitors. Also look through the resumes of the largest pool of qualified candidates in the communication discipline. For an additional cost, your ad may also appear in Spectra, NCA's magazine, which is mailed to approximately 8,500 NCA members. Click here for pricing and additional information.
Spectra
Spectra is a modified quarterly magazine that is mailed to approximately 8,500 NCA members. In addition to topical articles for communication professionals, the publication features advertisements for graduate programs and new publications, as well as classified advertisements. Below is submission information:
Text Ads for Classified Advertisements
All text ads (also known as line ads) must be submitted through the NCA Career Center. Go to the NCA Career Center for more submission details, pricing, and additional information.
Graphic Ads for Classified Advertisements or other Advertisements
Graphic ads (also known as display ads) must be submitted in one of the following formats: TIF (300dpi), EPS (with vector and header data), JPG (300 dpi), or print-ready PDF. Any advertisement not sent in one of the above mentioned formats will be assessed a $100 reformatting fee. Email graphic ad file and graphic ad submission form to spectra@natcom.org. Deadlines
The deadline for advertisements in Spectra is approximately four weeks prior to publication date. Please review the chart below for specific dates. Deadlines are set by calendar date, regardless of whether the date falls on a weekend or holiday. Those submitting copy with deadlines should take note of issue and dateline dates.

Convention Program

Communication, Research and Theory Network (CRTNET) Listserv
Position announcements may be posted to the Communication, Research, and Theory Network (CRTNET), to which over 8,000 communication students, teachers, scholars, and practitioners subscribe. CRTNET is a daily listserv that is sent out to subscribers. Announcements only appear once. This service is free to NCA departmental members. The cost for non-departmental members to post on the listserv is $100.
