Nancy Kidd is the Executive Director of the National Communication Association. She has a Ph.D. from Stanford University and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Kidd began her career in New York as a program officer for the Russell Sage Foundation, and subsequently moved to Miami to serve as policy director for the South Florida Workforce Board. She then established and led a strategic management consulting group for a Washington, DC-based Federal government contractor. Immediately prior to joining the National Communication Association, Kidd ran a division of the Corporate Executive Board that provides strategic research to a membership of senior executives at the world’s leading corporations. She has won awards for academic teaching and research and has received several honors for professional service throughout her career.
