As an Accredited member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS), LPH has active chapters at four-year colleges and universities worldwide.  LPH represents what Aristotle described in his book Rhetoric as three ingredients of persuasion: Logos (Lambda) meaning logic, Pathos (Pi) relating to emotion and Ethos (Eta) defined as character credibility, and ethics. Lambda Pi Eta recognizes, fosters, and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement while stimulating interest in the communication discipline.

Sigma Chi Eta

National Honorary Society for Undergraduates in Two-Year Communication Programs

Sigma Chi Eta (SCH) is represented by the Greek letters S, C, and H to symbolize “Students in Communication with Honors.” SCH strives to recognize, foster, and reward outstanding scholastic achievement while exploring options for community college students to transfer to a four-year college or university or enter the world of work.

NCA Student Clubs

National Club for Undergraduates in Two and Four-year Communication Programs

NCASC is committed to enriching the lives of undergraduate communication major and minors. Unlike LPH and SCH, an academic level of achievement is not a pre-requisite for membership. NCASC exists for various reasons and encourages membership in one of the honoraries.
