Rank of NCA Members
The following tables and set of graphs shows the reported rank of NCA members as represented on their membership record. Some categories used below were created using multiple responses. In particular, the "Other Faculty" category includes such entries as "Teacher" and "Faculty member". "Practitioner" includes such titles as "Consultant," "Artist," "Lawyer," etc. "Retired" also includes those with "Emeritus" status.
Some members report multiple ranks, such as Professor and Chair. That reason, a separate graph was created showing the percent of members
Of the 7185 member records processed, only 6684 had a rank or position indicated in their record.
The table and first two graphs show all categories (percent) and only those with "academic ranks" (adjusted percent). The Adjusted Percent represents those members who are not students, retired, practitioners or other faculty members.
