This is a link to the American Association of Higher Education Assessment Forum. The forum is a nation network connecting and supporting those interested in assessment in higher education. It offers help to campuses, programs, and individuals to plan, implement, and share the results of their assessment efforts by publishing, consulting, networking, and organizing an annual national conference. http://www.aahe.org/Assessment/assessmentplan.htm

Selections from Classroom Assessment Techniques: A Handbook for Teachers are featured at this site. The site responds directly to concerns about better learning and more effectively teaching. The Education Commission of the States has a page with abstracts of publications and information about ECS projects in higher education and K-12 assessment, accountability, workplace preparation, and other topics. http://www.ecs.org

The Assessment Resource Office at Eastern New Mexico University has a web page that features academic and support unit assessment plans, links to other resources, a campus newsletter on ARO assessment activities and results, and the H.E.A.D. The George Mason University Office of Institutional Assessment produces an electronic newsletter, In Focus which reports on GMU surveys and other assessments. Also included is a list of resources for institutional research. http://assessment.gmu.edu/

The Office of Student Assessment at James Madison University has created a page with their mission statement, alumni surveys, FAQ's, and links to other resources. http://www.jmu.edu/assessment

Montana State University at Bozeman has created a Student Outcomes Assessment Page. The page includes information about their campus assessment project, assessment resources for MSU faculty and administrators, departmental assessment plans, and senior and alumni survey results. http://www.montana.edu/~aircj/assess

The assessment page from Phoenix College features the college's assessment plan complete with a description of their assessment program, overview of assessment activities, and tables of methods and schedules. The Department of Academic Assessment and Student Research at the University of Missouri at Rolla offers its university assessment policies, campus resources, and assessment instruments. This site provides examples of what has been accomplished at the University of Colorado at Boulder. NCA has an email discussion list on assessing communication. Direct any questions or comments to assessment@natcom.org. Experts in the assessment area can respond to your inquiry. If you want to subscribe to the list, send an e-mail message to Jennifer Peltak, jpeltak@natcom.org, in the National Office briefly stating that you would like to be subscribed to the Assessment e-mail listserv.

ASSESS-L is an email discussion on assessment in higher education. To subscribe, send an email message to listserv@lsv.uky.edu. The message should say subscribe assess your first name your last name. Make sure nothing is in the subject line and there is no signature.
