Background

ARTICLE IV (Affiliate Organizations ) of the NCA Constitution provides that “The Legislative Council may, upon petition from an association whose objectives are consistent with those of the Association, grant to such association the status of affiliate organization.”

The previous policies of the LC require that the requesting organization submit:

1. A letter requesting affiliation from the requesting organization.

2. A copy of the organization constituting documents (e.g., a copy of its constitution or bylaws).

3. A copy of any publication published by the organization.

4. A letter of agreement between NCA and the organization specifying the nature of the affiliation.
