Section 1. The Committee on Resolutions shall consist of the NCA Second Vice
President who shall serve for one year and one person from each of the Association’s
Divisions. The division representatives shall serve for two-year staggered appointments.
The Divisions shall be responsible for developing methods for electing their
representative to the Resolution Committee.
Section 2. Following a call for resolutions, the Committee shall receive,
review, and edit motions to be brought before the Legislative Council. The Committee may
originate motions.
Section 3. The Council shall ordinarily receive and act on resolutions
transmitted from the Committee on Resolutions prior to entertaining resolutions from the
floor.
