Election Results

On September 13, 2002, the Tellers Committee reported the results of the election.

Martha Solomon Watson, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, was elected by the membership to serve as NCA’s 2^nd Vice President.  Watson will assume office following the conclusion of the 2002 convention in New Orleans.

NCA Constitutional Amendment:  

61.4% Yes

38.6% No  

The amendment needed a 2/3 vote in order to pass.

Three NCA members were elected to hold at-large positions on the 2003-2004 Legislative Councils. Those members are Cynthia Berryman-Fink, University of Cincinnati, Paul Mongeau, Arizona State University, and Fernando Delgado, Arizona State University West.
