The Placement Center at the convention provide opportunities for applicants and those with positions to meet and conduct interviews.

NCA’s traditional Placement Center has not previously featured a job fair. However, departments have expressed their need for a larger applicant pool, and applicants have noted that the lack of opportunity to talk with prospective employers, and the entrance fee requirement have been hindrances to accessing job prospects. In response to this feedback from many applicants and departments that the Placement Center no longer meets their needs, NCA began offering a job fair starting with the 2002 convention.

All departments with a position (or the prospect of a position) are invited to reserve a booth at the nextt Job Fair. NCA will set up the area with exhibit booths and each department may display whatever materials they feel appropriate.
